Every summer I take a break from my monthly book club recommendations in place of my carefully crafted summer reading list. So, may I present to you my favourite book picks for summer 2020, including everything from romance and thrillers to non-fiction and personal development.
This month’s pick is called The Switch by newcomer Beth O’Leary. The Switch is the heartwarming tale of Leena and her grandmother, Eileen. In need of a change they decide to swap lives for 2 months. The Switch is full of laugh out loud moments, relationship meltdowns and a whole lot of love. It is what I would describe as the perfect feel-good summer read!
If you’re finding yourself bored in lockdown, I have a fascinating read for you this month to keep you busy! I was very intrigued by this book, and it has certainly sparked a lot of debate. This month’s book club pick is Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid.
American Dirt is a heartbreaking tale of a mother and her eight-year-old son on the run from Mexico to the United States, having escaped an attack by one of the most dangerous Mexican drug cartels. Unputdownable, if you read anything this year then it needs to be this book!
This month’s book club pick has landed! I’ve reverted back to fiction to bring you the latest release from author Jane Fallon, Tell me a secret. Jane is a fantastic author who has written many novels with one thing in common … revenge and this is no exception. Enjoy lovelies and let me know what you think!
