If you’ve read my about page you’ll know I like to keep fit and healthy but you will never catch me on a diet – I love food far too much and couldn’t live without the naughty treats. Forget about the crazy diet fads, all you need in your life is Joe Wicks lean in 15 book. I know it’s being talked about by everyone but it truly is a fantastic take on getting the balance between diet and exercise just right. It’s fun, informative and easy to follow with quick recipes and ideas for HIIT training, everything in one.
My friends bought me it for my birthday after I saw it at Becca’s house and fell in love with the recipes. This week I’ve created a meal plan, bought the ingredients and am looking forward to trying out some new ideas. 2 days in and I feel energised but also full – something I’ve struggled with previously with the perception that healthy food isn’t always filling (I’m a lover of carbs).
Meal 1: Cheesy chicken and chorizo with spinach.
This was amazing. So tasty and probably one of my new fav dishes. A very easy meal to pull together just chop up the ingredients of chicken and chorizo, cherry tomatoes, spinach & red onion – fry off in a pan with some coconut oil, add the mozzarella and finish with a sprinkling of pine nuts.
I think this book may just become my food bible. I’ll let you know how I get on!
